The 2024 Annual Sport Tynedale Awards, sponsored by Egger (UK) Ltd, were held at the Hexham Mart on Sunday 8th December 2024. The awards play a part in inspiring others, and this year we celebrated 50 years of the Awards!
The awards celebrate sporting achievements by individuals, teams, clubs, coaches, schools and volunteers in our communities. To make the shortlist is testament to the individual’s or Team’s dedication to sport – each have been nominated and then met the judge’s criteria to worthy of short listing.
The shortlisted Hexham RC members were:
Youth Team of The Year: Hexham Rowing Club Women’s Junior 16 Quad (Emma, Esme, Bel & Cassie)*
Junior Sportsman of the Year: Dan, Jacob and Ethan
Sportswoman of the Year: Elizabeth
Adult Team of the Year: Hexham Rowing Club Women’s Masters B Crew (Catherine, Shor, Helena & Elizabeth)*
