On Friday 17th July the Development squad welcomed Talkin Tarn ARC recreational rowers for a joint morning on the water. The crews were organised by Coach Rob. We had a big boat rigged for sweep, two ladies quads and one mens quad and a double with crews split 50/50 between Tarn and Hexham. At half time Tarn crews swapped around into different boats so we all got to row with different people. There was even some modest racing between the ladies quads.
This was followed by lunch in the sun. Many thanks to Sue for organising and all the volunteers who helped with the catering and baked cakes and other goodies.
