Thank you to all clubs for racing at Hexham Regatta 2024. 240 races were hotly contested throughout the day by clubs across the region.
This year we had our biggest entry, it was fantastic to welcome competitors to Tyne Green for a full day of side by side racing. The river levels had been high on the lead up, giving the organising committee some nerves, but we were thrilled to see it drop to safe levels before the event. We couldn’t make it happen without the help of our members, volunteers and umpires. Delicious food prepared by junior parents, hot foot served by WMH Quality Catering, raffle prizes from local businesses, photography by SI Events, Red Seal Safety Cover, loos by cart a loo… You all deserve a medal.
