Well, the sun shone, the Pimm’s flowed, the day ran to time (almost) and everyone enjoyed themselves.
Once again, Hexham punched way above its weight and staged a regatta that is the envy of the region.
It showcased Hexham as a club that works as one to put on a very professional and polished event, recognised not just by the local rowing community but also at a national level.
Thank you to everyone who rolled up their sleeves and got stuck in. It was a long day but its success was down to the hard work and cheerful willingness of members (and their families) to get involved.
A day to be proud of.
