The 2008 Grand Prize Raffle promises to be the biggest ever, with a first prize worth approximately £1,200... up to 7 Night's stay in a French Villa!

Further details about the First Prize:
- The villa is situated in a small rural village called Sombrua
- 2km from the small town of Marbouget in the Haute Aquitaine region of SW France
- 1hr drive from Pau airport
- 2hr drive from Toulouse (east) and Biarritz (west) airports
- 1hr drive from the Pyranees
- 3/4 hr from Lourdes
- several ski resorts in the area
- wine producing area

- the villa sleeps 10 (12 if sofa bed in TV room used)
- 3 bedrooms upstairs (1 en suite)
- bathroom and separate toilet upstairs
- downstairs: TV room, open plan kitchen/dining/sitting area; downstairs toilet

Important terms and conditions of stay
- No cash alternative will be offered

-accommodation/heat/water/electricity included
- starter pack provided on arrival (milk, cereal, bread, butter)
- duration - maximum of 7 nights
- maximum of 12 people (including children)
- the prize must be taken at a date that is mutually agreed with the owner
- the prize must be taken within 12 months of the 2008 Hexham Regatta (7 June 2008)
- the winner must be 18 years or over
- a deposit of £400 must be paid in advance
- breakages/damages must be paid for by guests
- the villa will be checked before arrival and after departure
- TO MEET WITH CURRENT FRENCH LAW, THE PRIZE CLAIMANT(S) MUST HAVE IN PLACE CURRENT TRAVEL INSURANCE AS THE OWNER OF THE VILLA WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INJURY, ILLNESS, DEATH etc WHILST STAYING ON THE PREMISES.
